The Williamsport Home has a rich history dating back to 1872 when it was founded by a dedicated group of Christian women as the Home for the Friendless. Originally established to provide care and shelter for those in need, the name was changed in 1940 to better reflect the community’s evolving services and mission.
Today, The Williamsport Home is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community, offering a full spectrum of senior living options. Our campus spans 86.47 acres in Loyalsock Township and includes a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, two licensed Personal Care programs, and three Independent Living Apartment communities. With a long-standing commitment to compassionate care and quality services, The Williamsport Home continues to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for its residents.
